Absolutely brilliant service, it's a shame he is closing up.
Made to feel guilty for wanting to browse, without instantly knowing which comic book we wanted to buy. Is it unacceptable to go into a store without buying anything? We were asked to leave after being harassed and pressured into buying something. Really unique experience, I would try and improve my social skills if I were him.

Poor service. The guy in there talked too much. I purchased a book that I had already read and he offered me a partial refund even when I just wanted to swap it for a book of equal value. I would have been a loyal customer. I guess I will continue to buy online. Book depository does the comics so much cheaper and has better customer service. How ironic. It was such a shame.
This store is a gift to Newcastle, as are the staff who run it. My whole family loves entering this store to uncover our reading pleasures within - my wife with her art books, my daughter for the Sonic comics, and I love getting a mix bag of whatever looks good. The staff are a delight and make the experience all the better - extremely knowledgeable, great recommendations, funny banter.
