Thus bus stop has moved about 500 meters farther to the west.Ths is the start point for the 11, 13, and 14 buses and the 55N.There is one (1) seat available, accomodating three (3) or four (4) people. The seat does not have any protection from the weather.The bus stop is not very accommodating for passengers wanting to catch a bus.The 110 Newcastle Loop Service coming from, and going to the Newcastle Interchange (train station), along with the private Newcastle Tram, a tourist loop service, and the buses/coaches provided for tourist who have arrived via a Cruise Ship makes the bus stop extremely crowded. There is not enough space on the road to accommodate all of these services that may arrive together.Throw in the nearby taxi rank and the place is absolutely crowded.There is not enough room to accommodate all the passengers for all of these services.When attempting to catch a bus that starts at this location, one (1) bus was already at the bus stop, with passengers disembarking and embarking, I signalled the driver of the bus arriving at the bus stop. The driver looked at me, then looked away and drove the bus around the bus already at the bus stop.Another passenger was able to signal the driver as he rounded the stationary bus. The driver stopped the bus in the street on the side if the statiomary bus, and this passenger had to walk in front of the stationary bus in order to board the bus.The bus driver then shut the doors on the bus and was about to drive off. Somehow the bus driver noticed that myself and another person was wanting to board the bus. He opened the doors again to allow us to board the bus.When the other person asked why the driver had stopped where he had, and why the driver did not stop behind the stationary bus after being signalled, the driver replied that he had not seen me signal for the bus. Which is incorrect as the bus driver looked directly at me when I signalled ths bus.When the other person was boarding the bus in front of me, I heard the bus driver complain that he was holding up the traffic and the two (2) of us should hurry to board the bus. There was no traffic behind this bus at this time.It was as if the bus driver was attempting to blame both the person in front of me ad myself for his behaviour of stopping the bus in a traffic lane, and tried to infer that we should not get on the bus.Therefore, be aware of the attitudes of some of thr bus drivers. Thankfully it is not all of ths bus drivers who think that their passengers are an inconveinence to the job they are being paid to perform.
