Free breakfast for kids before 9am on Saturday! My sunny side up fried eggs on toast were good, the kids banana bread with cinnamon butter a nice touch. Coffee, as usual in Newcastle, needs an extra shot. Maybe that's all of Australia. Maybe I'm a just a fiend for caffeine. If I started a coffee shop where double shots were standard, would you come?
Came up from sydney for a day trip and thought we would try out this cafe. Very busy with lots of people but managed to get a table outside. Ordered a skim latte and a big breakfast.Coffee was cold and full of air bubbles. They used old foam that was burnt from a previous coffee and it made the texture awful. And it was cold, not lukewarm, not hot enough but actually halfway to a iced coffee.Meal was full of processed meat and no veggies. No tomato and two tiny eggs.Total rip off for the price of $27 and the sausage was terrible. Place only makes money because there is no competition. Sorry but Im not impressed and if you are reading this and thinking of eating here, go elsewhere you deserve better...
Awesome cafe in the heart of Newcastle, a nice little spot. The cafe offers a good range of products (Chef Ben Holland) does an amazing job, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food looks fresh and yummy. Definitely a good spot for breakfast or lunch.
A grest place to have breakfast when you are in Newcastle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They serve healthy food that tasted great. The portions are also in good sizes. Customers can choose to dine inside or outdoor under the shades.
