Excellent family run cinema complex showing both mainstream and art film. Best cinema in Newcastle
It's a very old theatre, which serves a dual purpose of screening cinemas and other shows. They have barely maintained the theatre. The seats are rickety and toilets smells. The sound system is pretty outdated. My stereo system at home produces better sound than this.Once it became a parcel of Event cinemas, one would expect it to be a bit better, alas nothing like that has happened. The staff are very friendly and helpful.Parking is another big headache, only street parking available and you need plenty of luck to find one nearby.
