Student night is awesome, and the drink prices are pretty decent as well. The different levels offer different experiences, which is super cool. The atmosphere is awesome and there is music that anyone can enjoy (the different levels help with that too).
got kicked out one night the only reason I could think of was I was not pinging enough to fit in it all ended ok so no dramas
I've had a few bad experiences with the security in this nightclub. I've experienced some aggressive behaviour and been denied entry due to drunkeness while not having consumed any yet in the evening. My friends went in before me and due to no phone battery had to wait outside until a friend realised and came out so we could go somewhere else together. Seperating females so one is on her own, not cool
As someone from Sydney I found this to be a good nightclub. 2 levels with different music so if you get sick of one you can got to the other. Bar was pretty easy to get drinks at considering a packed event was on. Would go to again if I'm in Newcastle
Giving it 3 stars because of the one nice bouncer I have came along too and the music. BUT!But I went in one night by myself trying to find a drunk friend who was already in there. I bought one drink ($5) (you get charged $10 to get into the actual club) and then went to the bathroom with a big group of girls. I had a fall a few months ago and I hurt my back when I fell down stairs at another place (not a club, or pub) and I chose to take the stairs slowly as for I didn't want to be pushed down or knocked. After mastering 3 stories of stairs I then went to the bathroom with the group of girls. After I came out I got my drink snached out of my hand and basically shoved out of the door where they told me I was too drunk and wasn't aloud in. I then tried to explain this is my first drink of the night. All I got in return was the bouncers laughing at me and then threatened to call the police. I'm only 18 aswell. I was then forced to walk 10 mins home alone because my friend was still in the club. They don't really take care of people too well here so just a warning.
