Stole my leaf blower and bunch of yard equipment, about $500 worth of my belongings.Called their office and got a very idgaf response from the female office attendee. Removalists couldnt wait to leave and kept asking if they could (paid to unpack boxes). Also were supposed to come back to pick up removal rubbish (boxes and paper).Three weeks have passed and I am dealing with these issues myself.If I were planning a move in this area I would want to know that grace will steal and provide a sub standard level of service.Go ahead and respond Grace. When something stinks, people steer away from it. Enjoy.
I've moved myself better than these removalists & I'm a 60 y/o female. Didn't allow enough space, things got left behind & after stressing REPEATEDLY the old/sentimental/valuable nature of one item - got broken & they turned up with a container - not a truck. Expensive, not worth it. The people were nice. If I could give less than one star I would. Oh - & they left behind the washing machine hose - lucky I only moved a suburb away. Never again.
Grace are not worth the cost. I assumed that the higher price and kinder call operator would mean a better service and I was vastly mistaken. I paid over $5000 altogether to Grace and I feel so stupid.None of my boxes are labelled so now I need to go through, box by box, to find kitchen items.I was told an arrival time of 1-1:30. When no one showed at 2:30, I called Grace. Was redirected around twice and told by the operator they would arrive in 5 minutes. After half an hour, I called again. They arrived 20 minutes after that.The drivers told me this was the call centres fault for not telling me.All of my furniture was scraped and scratched. The movers put my scratched and dented the metal bed frame on the ground and left it there while it started to rain. Because paint is scraped off from the move, it's probably rusted now. My bedside drawer isn't even functional now after they dropped it taking it out, and it was also damaged on the move.When they finish, they give you a paper to sign. They told me this meant that I was signing to say they took everything off the truck. It ACTUALLY meant I was signing to say my things had all arrived (how would I know, the boxes are unlabelled!) and it was in original condition (it wasn't).Finally, to add insult to injury, I received three emails and two phone calls over the next 3 days to give them feedback on their service. After I picked up a call, assuming something was serious given they called me so many times, I gave the guy feedback about being late. He literally said something to the effect of "well i apologise for the weather that day". After all this, I get an email asking for a google review! So here's what you get, Grace.
Just moved yesterday with Grace Newcastle. A really positive experience all round, six guys in two trucks arrived ready to move us out of a narrow, inner city street. Nothing was an issue, and they worked really well to make our day as stress-free as possible. They moved a heap of plants out of our three-storey townhouse, and up a steep drive at the new place. The rest of our stuff went in two storage containers to be delivered later. After some really bad experiences with other removalists in the past, we would recommend Grace to anyone.
Would highly recommend Grace Removals. They were very professional in advising us regarding cost and desired moving date. The two people who were on the truck were indeed gentlemen. Nothing was a trouble in loading and arranging our furniture as we wanted it. They arrived ahead of nominated time and continued in a fast and efficient manner. Definitely a very well organised and efficient Company.
