Selling house - I was given an estimate, signed the papers. I was promised assistance for rental for person living in the house - didn't happen.I would suggest anyone selling please shop around for realistic information, and do not sign anything until you have read all reviews regarding the agency. The best advice, use an agent that has been personally recommended.
Useless at returning calls. Slow administrative procedures. Unpleasant to deal with.
We have had the pleasure of dealing with the property management team over the past 7 years for 2 different locations. The whole team have been great to deal with. However special kudos to Christie Birch. Christie helped us find a property, after we were lead astray by an owner and then through staff changes always been available to us in assisting for a great balanced relationship. I also know 2 owners and another tenant that have agreed with this view of Christie's refreshing sensible, professional and efficient approach. To the point that we were disappointed when we had to move into a property not managed by her and the Ray White Newcastle team this time around.
I strongly suggest to get a property law solicitor or enquiring with the Dept of Fair Trading when dealing with this real estate. My husband is luckily a property law solictor in Newcastle and we both discovered that that the agents here have no absolutely no idea about many of the laws involved with real estate. To top it off, they constantly gave us an attitude problem and have no idea about customer service. Not recommended.
