I had a great day at the Newcastle drum store. Mick and Alex know their stuff for sure and I got a great deal on two fantastic cymbals. They have a great selection of gear to choose from and nothing is a problem. If youre in the area, call in, its well worth a visit.
I've been dealing with the Drum Shop (first as part of Foley's Music, then as part of Muso's Corner) for over 40 years. I've bought tens of thousands of dollars of gear with them (I've got a major Zildjian "fetish.") And only very rarely with anyone else. Great service, good prices, and extreme loyalty to their customers means they are my first port of call for anything percussion-related.
Fantastic range of drums, cymbals, sticks, hardware, spare parts, accessories, miscellaneous percussion items... everything a drummer could possibly want! Wonderful helpful, knowledgeable service, competitive prices, access to great drum tuition and even a student discount for our boy. They blow every other music store we've visited (other than Billy Hyde, RIP) out of the water!
