Casual bar with great vibe and awesome music. Service was fast and staff were friendly.
This is what a pub is supposed to be. Anyone craving Aussie pub culture with the right music, great counteries, the sound of laughter and breaking pool racks in the background the family is where you need to go. Im halfway through a fried chicken burger any Sydney joint would fail to even get a photo of let alone taste half as good and a beer and chips to match. You really cant ask for more after knock off.
It's in the name that is true to what this place stands for. Upon entering this wonderful establishment, I was greeted by the very cheerful staff. I secured my place at the bar for the evening and enjoyed friendly chats with the bar staff in between their very busy sessions of patrons orders. The atmosphere was vibrant and the patrons were very friendly. Thank you Jess, Annabelle and Abigail, I hope to see you when I return 2019. PS- Getting myself a clam shell punch nek time.
Great food at a great price. Schnitzels were a good size and great quality. Tacos were also good. Watch for nightly special deals that make price e ceptionally good.
Dog friendly every where inside is a real plus. Made for a nice afternoon session. We took advantage of a beer special (can't remember exact details but it was cheap compared to our local in Sydney) and had some nice food along with it. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. It was out of our way from where we stayed in Newcastle, which is the only reason we didn't go back again the same weekend. Wings were also tasty and cheap!
