The food was good, and tended to be on the spicy side. The dishes were not traditional tapas, more like Latin American. You had to occasionally walk up to the kitchen area to ask for service (we did it twice) but when they came they were very nice. They even adjusted the dish' spice level so the kids could enjoy their selection. If you were not interested in their wine, you could bring your own at a reasonable fee. Worth going back to and recommending to families and friends. Nothing like sharing!
Foods are good (but not top quality). Waitress was very friendly & introduce menu clearly, love their service! But foods came very slow and we had to wait 20minutes for the desert.
What can I say but....WOW!!! Absolutely tasty and beautiful food Spanish food. We had the greatest flavors with everything that we tasted. My sincere compliments to the chefs and the staff. Alexis who was our waitress was absolutely fantastic!! She was very engaging and made my partner and I feel so welcome you deserve a Payrise all in all a great experience at a fantastic restaurant.
We had such an amazing dining experience... the food was amazing.. And we were treated with such a lovely lady named Anna! Dinner at this place really made our night and our stay in Newcastle definitely worth remembering.. Thank you Bocados and Anna for the beautiful experience
Loved this place. We had dinner here, sat outside on King St but the atmosphere was still very welcoming. Service was friendly and fast. They fitted us in last minute with no fuss. The food was full of flavour, so many options. We loved sharing and sampling different dishes. Lots of gluten free options. My husband enjoyed sampling some Spanish beers. Our server could see I was a bit cold and asked if I'd like a blanket, above my expectations! We'll definitely be back.
