I can not give this restaurant enough stars. We had a wonderful evening here enjoying the degustation and everything was on point. The food, the wine, the ambiance was all all perfect. However it was the service that truly made this place special. The wait staff went out of their way to make sure it was the perfect night. The only problem is that we don't live in Newcastle so it can't be our regular, but we will be travelling back just so we can go again.
Amazing ability to mix great food with great wine. Just let them do the half wine glass with each course accompaniment. They pick unusual wines, that you probably haven't seen before - great dessert wine from Orange last time. Have had the vegetarian option twice now and it has been great.
Well thought out dishes with unique and delicious flavours. Price is reasonable for what you get. Fine-dining concept, but I'd have no issues returning for more the next day.
An awesome experience, especially if you're lucky enough to be seated in the glasshouse out the back. The food is always phenomenal. I'd like to see some even more premium wines on the list, but it hits the mark as-is. The waitstaff are superb, and whoever is picking the music really knows what they're doing.
