Fabulous views and ambience. We had the garlic prawn entree and its was perfect. My friends lamb was promising as was the eye fillet I ordered, however neither were medium rare as requested. Both were overly sweet which was unexpected. The wine, however, was delicious. The wait staff were appropriately attentive and helpful.
A lovely quaint restaurant. My sister and I hadn't booked but it was lovely to dine outside. The staff were initially attentive, took our order for a drink and the main meal. No staff attended to us after that. We would've ordered a desert but obviously too busy inside, dont know...
Lovely location, food really average especially the vegetarian meals. We were with a large group and on the whole everyone was disappointed with their meals. Not a standout.
Absolutely loved our romantic dinner here on new years eve. Staff were attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. We will be back
From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt welcome. The service provided by Rodney and the crew is nothing short of superlative. Wine selection is great and food is fantastic. Will always stop in when travelling through Newcastle in the future!
