Very close to cafes and eaterys, Rooms are perfect for overnight stays. Friendly helpful staff.
You get what you pay for. Rooms are fairly basic and decent size. Shower / Bath tiles need regrouting. Toilet seat wouldn't stay up so a bit tricky going number one for a guy. Single chairs in room were stained and with hairs on them. Bar next to the restaurant is ordinary and closes very early. Location is really excellent. Bars, restaurants, shop centre and fast food all less than 5 minutes walk.
Water pressure was very average, but other than that the room was very clean. We had a n enjoyable stay. Very close to everything, couldn't get a better location.
Room is nice and clean but don't bother getting the breakfast from the hotel. Hot food ran out at 9:15 for breakfast that was supposed to run till 10AM. $15 for milk, cereal, white bread and butter.
The staff - absolutely fantastic. The food from the small restaurant also great - well prepared, tasty and generous serves. The room, however was a let-down. 4th floor view through a dirty window was of the rubbish strewn car-park of the property next door. Then there was the bathroom - mould around the bath taps, shower screen hinges and, tiles. Toilet bowl stained through old age and bath tub peeling. Just to top things off - the air-conditioner head was dripping water onto the carpet. I complained about the A/C unit, but with no other rooms available, the duty manager went above and beyond the call of duty to try and deal with the problem including providing me with a pedestal fan so the A/C could be turned off pending repairs. This room was tired and in desperate need of an upgrade. Lift your game Inn Keeper - you're letting down the Travelodge name.
